Wine Club Member Event: Wine Blending!

Saturday, March 23 1-3 PM.  Wine Club Members and guests only!

Join Cory Bosworth here at Cooper-Garrod’s Cutting Shed for a two-hour Wine Blending Experience.  We will talk about why blending happens, and how winemakers decide their blends, and then you will have a chance to try it yourself, tasting through blends that you’ve put together!   This is limited to 40 guests total; your ticket includes the blending experience, plus a grazing table from the lovely local caterer Spikes Bites.  Guests will be seated in groups of 4 for this experience, so if you are a party of 2, know in advance you’ll have a chance to meet some new friends – or, find some friends and sign up as a group of 4!  We also recommend wearing clothes that are equally up for an adventure, in case a bit of wine spills along the way.  Limited to 40 guests.  Purchase your tickets by logging in to your Wine Club account online first (using the email address at which you receive your Wine Club Allotment announcements), and then visiting the Events section of our Online Store!

Music at the Winery

Our live-music season for 2024 will begin on Saturday afternoons in April!  We look forward to seeing you then!

Private Events

Do you need a space for your own private event?

We have three event spaces available, for small events (up to 32 people), medium events (up to 50 people) and large events (up to 90 people).  The small event space is our indoor historic Fruit House; this space is available both during business hours and after hours.  The medium space is our open-air, covered Cutting Shed space, outfitted with heaters and an outdoor bar.  This space is only available after hours (6-9 PM).   Our large space includes both the Cutting Shed and our Garden Patio; this space is only available after hours during the warmer months (6-9 PM, May-September).

Please note, we do not host weddings.

Fruit House (up to 32 guests if a standing event; up to 24 guests if a seated event): $600 for three hours use of space.  Indoor, heat/AC, a bar, and barrels for standing tables.  Can be booked both during business hours or after hours.

Cutting Shed (up to 50 guests): $750 for three hours use of space.  It is an open-air space that has a roof, electric and standing heaters, tables and chairs, and an outdoor bar.  Only available for private events after hours.

Garden Patio + Cutting Shed (up to 90 guests): $2,500 for three hours use of space.  Only available for private events after hours, between May-September.

Catering Options

We do not offer catering for private events.  Customers will need to arrange for any event catering and/or event rentals on their own.  We do have a list of preferred vendors that we have used before that we are happy to share.

As a historic family business, we are especially vested in the sustainability of our winery and vineyards, with the goal of a continuing legacy for succeeding generations.

“Once you drink CG wine, you will be back. I promise you that. Family-owned and operated winery. An amazing vibe every time.”

“Favorite winery I have ever been to. Their wine was excellent, their service was wonderful, and the atmosphere is quaint, yet beautiful. The rural feel reminds me of home. Can’t recommend this place enough.”

– Jake –

“Beautiful family-owned winery up in the hills! The patio is nice & shaded, and the tables are spread out for covid times. The employees are so kind & knowledgeable as well. Most importantly, the wine is delicious! We’ll definitely be back soon.”

– Carly –

“Pleasant afternoon in a most genial and accommodating environment sampling home produced wines. No pretence, the wines are good quality and very easy on the palate. Cheese, cured meat and varieties of crackers available to accompany the wine.”

“We are members here and love coming up for a free tasting flight. It feels like you’ve left the city hundreds of miles behind and you’re out in the country, peaceful and quiet. In non-covid times we have put our kids on a trail ride with their horses while we enjoyed the tasting room. For now, the patio is open for tastings and on Sundays, lunch or nibbles, with masks and distancing. I enjoy their two vineyard red blends. All the wine blends have names related to the aviation industry.”
