Music at the Winery

We highly recommend on days with live music that you make a reservation in advance!

Saturday, Sept. 16: Christopher Nicklin returns with his lovely acoustic fingerstyle guitar playing, regaling audiences with hits from the 60s to today.  2-4 PM.

Saturday, Sept. 23: Gary Nobile, Nate Walker & Pete Sommer performing in a “Nashville Round” style show. 1-4 PM.  Sharing original songs as well as some written by a few of our favorite writers including some background stories. Since we are individual artists, we each take turns playing songs sitting on barstools with just guitars and microphones. It’s called a “Nashville Round”, this is how many of the writers perform in “Nashville”. Since the voices and song styles changes every song it’s effectively 3 performers in one.

Saturday, Sept. 30: Harry Burks.  As the lead singer of the award-winning band The Megatones, Harry Burks regularly performs at large festivals, music series and private events across the bay area, wine country and the coast. He honed his acoustic skills performing in Nashville, and plays a broad variety of folk, rock, standards and modern country material. You can also see Harry in duo or trio acoustic formats with P.S. Acoustic. Check him out at:  https://www.facebook.com/hburks

Saturday, Oct. 7: Suzanne Cornelius is usually seen playing stand up bass and singing with a variety of Bay Area bands but for this show she’ll put down her bass and bring her guitar to Cooper Garrod for a solo afternoon of musical entertainment. Come enjoy a lively mix of Americana and original songs carefully chosen to pair with your wine selection. 2-4 PM.

Saturday, Oct. 14:  Ren Geisick.  2-4 PM. Ren’s music is a manifestation of her Americana roots that is decidedly personal yet universally relatable. Borrowing elements of jazz, blues, and country, Ren delivers heartfelt performances of original music and reimagined classics. Never one to remain confined by a single genre, Ren flows seamlessly from a carefree country shuffle to an introspective ballad. What remains consistent throughout is her intimate lyrical delivery and vibrant energy.

Saturday, Oct. 21: Eden Edell grew up in the Bay Area, has been playing music for over twenty years, performing for ten, and has written more than a handful of songs. People are often moved when they hear Eden sing and the stories she tells in her music. Her musical style is Indie Folk but she also sings Blues and Jazz tunes. Her music is described as ethereal and grounding at the same time. 2-4 PM.

Saturday, Oct. 28: Junebug Bayer is a performance artist from Santa Cruz, California who specializes in folk-fusion fingerstyle guitar, occasionally adding harmonica, tap dance, autoharp, kazoo, ukulele, and banjo into the mix. 2-4 PM.

“Once you drink CG wine, you will be back. I promise you that. Family-owned and operated winery. An amazing vibe every time.”

“Favorite winery I have ever been to. Their wine was excellent, their service was wonderful, and the atmosphere is quaint, yet beautiful. The rural feel reminds me of home. Can’t recommend this place enough.”

– Jake –

“Beautiful family-owned winery up in the hills! The patio is nice & shaded, and the tables are spread out for covid times. The employees are so kind & knowledgeable as well. Most importantly, the wine is delicious! We’ll definitely be back soon.”

– Carly –

“Pleasant afternoon in a most genial and accommodating environment sampling home produced wines. No pretence, the wines are good quality and very easy on the palate. Cheese, cured meat and varieties of crackers available to accompany the wine.”

– Lesley –

“We are members here and love coming up for a free tasting flight. It feels like you’ve left the city hundreds of miles behind and you’re out in the country, peaceful and quiet. In non-covid times we have put our kids on a trail ride with their horses while we enjoyed the tasting room. For now, the patio is open for tastings and on Sundays, lunch or nibbles, with masks and distancing. I enjoy their two vineyard red blends. All the wine blends have names related to the aviation industry.”
